US Youth Soccer ODP Boys 1995 and 1996 regional age groups, Under-14 U.S. National Team Participate
ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 27, 2009) - The annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Boys Thanksgiving Interregional kicked off today with the 1996 age group competing at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.
US Youth Soccer ODP Boys 1995 Region II 1, Region IV 1
In the 33rd minute of the 1995 Region II and Region IV match, Region IV’s Jose Navarro brought the ball under control and scored from 10 yards out. Only two minutes later, Travis Wannemuehler scored the equalizer. He picked up a loose ball from 15 yards out and finished in the lower right corner. Region II and Region IV tied, 1-1.

In another high scoring game, Miseal Osorio started the game early scoring for Region IV in the 4th minute off a free kick from 20 yards out. Region I countered in the 9th minute with a Peter Pearson goal from 8 yards out. Two minutes later, Region IV went up again after Jose Navarro took a ball, crossing it to the center of the box where Bryan Hernandez finished the volley. Region IV’s Alejandro Espinoza scored after collecting a loose ball in the six yard box and finished it for his teams third goal. Region I’s Pearson scored his second goal of the game in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute, Region IV’s Hernandez assisted a Michael Steele goal. Late in the game, Region I’s Pearson played a ball down the middle of the field that Joel Teston collected and finished to bring the score to 4-3 in favor of Region IV.
