WPFC ECNL ’95s, ’96s, & 97s compete for a chance at the ECNL Nationals
WPFC ECNL tams continue to ascend above competition

WPFC ’96 ECNL coached by Seth Spidahl, were crowned champions of the ECNL Northwest Division after completing an undefeated regular season with a record of 11-0-3.  This is quite a feat and a first for any WPFC ECNL team.  ’96 ECNL is currently ranked #5 in the country and have the lowest GAA in the country at 7, the team received an automatic top 8 seed upcoming ECNL Regionals in Denver, CO. The ’97s and ’95s finished in the top 32 teams as well and will compete for a chance at the ECNL Nationals in Virginia. Congratulations ladies!

WPFC ECNL Regular Season Coming To A Close
U15-U17 teams have all clinched a berth in the Champions League Playoffs in Aurora, CO

The ECNL league season is coming to a close and the play off picture is becoming more clear.  For age groups U15-U17, the top 3 teams from each confierence plus the top 8 wild card teams will advance to the Champions League Playoffs in Aurora, Colorado.   WPFC’s U15-U17 teams have all clinched a berth in the event, a blind draw will be held after completion of all conference play to establish the pool placement.  Pool play is scheduled for June 21-23 with the winner of each pool advancing to the championship which will be held July 10-15 in Richmond, Virginia. Our GU14 and Gu18 teams finished in top half of the table and just missed berths to the event.

Congratulations to WPFC ’97 ECNL Forward Madison Hairston for having been selected for the all-event team.  This marks the sifth time that a WPFC player has been selected for an ECNL all-event team.

ENCL National Results

WPFC’s ’94, ’95, ’96, and ’97 teams recently finished their Elite Clubs National League season by attending the ECNL National Championships held in Waukegan, IL over July 24-30th.

The ’93s took 21st nationally and 5th in conference.

The ’94s took 4th place nationally and 3rd in conference.
Because of their 4th place finish they will compete for the Flight B National Championship in Chicago, IL. Good luck girls.

The ’95s took 9th place nationally and 2nd in conference.

The ’96s took 5th place nationally and 2nd in conference. 
Because of their 5th place finish they will compete for the Flight B National Championship in Chicago, IL. Good luck girls.

The ‘97s took 4th in conference and did not compete nationally.

’97 ECNL finish unbeaten with a record of 2-0-1.

Selected to the all-event team in San Diego, CA

Congratulations to both WPFC ’94 ECNL Keeper Sarah Shimer & WPFC ’93 ECNL Defender Kelsey Witker have both been selected for the all-event team.  This marks the third time that a WPFC player hass been selected for an ECNL all-event team.

WPFC ECNL program ranked in the Top 25
Building blocks laid for a strong foundation

In only its second year of existence the WPFC ECNL program has taken flight and elevated to new heights as all our teams are currently ranked in ECNL Flight B National top 25; with three of the four teams ranked in the top ten.  ’94 ECNL is currently ranked #5 and is on the cusp of gaining promotion to Flight A. Also ’96 ECNL has eyes on promotion,  the girls will be facing on Pleasanton Rage U15 on Sunday. In the fixture between two Flight B teams, a win for Premier could push the Washington club into a spot among the six in the B-Flight.

Selected to the ECNL PDP event in San Francisco, CA

Congratulations to ECNL ’95 MDF Celia Vaughn & ECNL ’94 GK Sarah Shimer for being selected to the 2012 ECNL PDP event for the Northwest Conference. The ECNL PDP Event for the Northwest Conference will be held in San Franciso, CA April 14-15th. Both players have been chosen for their magnificent run of play in recent ECNL matches. Great job ladies!
