WPFC Alumna voted as a 1st team NSCAA All-Far West Region selection

WPFC Alumna and Seattle Pacific University (SPU) senior Jocelyn Charette (Lakewood, Wash./Curtis HS) was honored as a first-team selection, when the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Far West Region squad was announced Monday. Charette, a forward, amassed 15 goals and seven assists for the Falcons and was named the 2009 Great Northwest Athletic Conference player of the year.

SPU won the GNAC title with a 9-2-1 league mark. The Falcons finished with a 16-3-2 overall record after being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by Chico State, which won the penalty kick tiebreaker 4-3 after a scoreless regulation and overtime.
