WPFC Alumna and Western Washington University Sophomore Defender Brianna Jones was named to the 2012 Daktronics NCAA Division II West Region All-Star Team announced Monday. Jones scored three goals. She helped the Vikings allow just nine goals in 23 games, have a streak of 10 shutouts and hold opponents scoreless for 919 minutes and 29 seconds.

WWU finished 19-4-0, the win total being a school record, and reached the championship game of the West Regional, matching the school’s best NCAA post-season advancement. The Viking won both the GNAC regular season and tournament titles.

The all-star team was chosen by sports information directors at the West Region schools.
