During the 2012 High School Fall Sports Seasons, CenturyLink, Q13 FOX/JoeTV and the Seattle Seahawks will honor Washington State high school student-athletes that display exemplary performance both on and off the field.  CenturyLink is a company that prides itself on superior customer service, quality products and services, and serving the community. The CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week program will honor one deserving student-athlete each week during the fall sports season starting in September, and culminating in early November. Washington Premier F.C. is proud to announce that Sarah Carter hasbeen awarded. Winners were selected from a candidate pool, indentified by the Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink, community leaders, high school coaches, teachers, peers, and parents!   Nominations will be accepted via www.Seahawks.com, and other Social Media outlets, throughout the designated program time frame.

ECNL ’94 Sarah Carter

-Defender on the #1 ranked 2a team. -Going to Gonzaga Univ., next year w/a 90% soccer scholarship. -3 year SPSL 1st team all-leaugue player. -Team MVP, SHS captain junior and senior year. -Team SPSL league title last year, and elite 8 appearance in state. -Plays soccer year round for her club team, WPFC. -4 years playing on the ODP team. Dedication to Academics - 3.95 cumulative GPA, International Baccalaureate student in Science, Math, English, History and Spanish. Ranked 9th in her class last year. Community Involvement - Helps raise money for Race for a Soilder, Relay for Life, and Come Walk with Me. Volunteered at Cascade Crest and Rainer to Ruston Crest. Helps organize community dinners at Sumner High School for the people of Sumner/Boney Lake. Volunteers at benefit night which benefits one individual in need school district. Leadership - Sumner High School leadership program for all 4 years in high school. Sarah is currently in core leadership. She also participated in Spart Crew and helped plan many school activities, including homecoming and community dinner.
